Some schools take all the money then cut you a refund check of whatever is left after tuition and books. Just ask. It's the school's job to tell you how the money will be used and distributed. It will be broken up in to two semesters, so you should get half the first semester and the other half in the other semester... At least this is how it has been in the past!
