Known as the TEACH (Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education) Grant, the program will pay up to $4000 a year to education majors who intend to teach in schools that provide education to students from low income families. As an applicant to this program, you’ll be required to sign a contract that commits you to teach in such a school - if you don’t satisfy the agreement after graduation, you’ll be obligated to pay back all of the grant funds with interest.
